Nickel Alloy 200 Pipe is made up of a commercially pure grade of nickel. This is a product that has good strength with very high corrosion resistant properties, especially to hydroxides. Whereas Nickel Alloy 200 Seamless Pipe is made from a single solid billet of nickel 200. The billet is heated, then pierced and rolled (and often cold-drawn) to form a hollow tube. Because it’s formed from one piece, there’s no longitudinal weld.
