Stainless Steel 310 Pipe Manufacturer and Supplier

Steel Pipe & Tubes has been a leading supplier of Stainless Steel  piping solutions.

Stainless Steel 310 is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel, which has been developed to be utilized in the conditions where high temperatures should be observed continuously and where there is an oxidising environment. SS 310 is a high-chromium, high-nickel alloy with a high resistance to scaling, oxidation and thermal fatigue as compared to the popular stainless steel alloys.

These are highly prevalent pipes in furnace components, boilers, heat treatment units, petrochemical units, and power plants where material high-temperature stability is very crucial. The stainless steel 310 pipes are mostly furnished in both seamless and weld types in compliance with ASTM A312 TP 310 that offers dimensional, mechanical and service life in a severe industrial service environment.

Stellar Alloys, being a manufacturer and supplier of stainless steel, 310 pipes, provides support to the needs of industries and projects with in-service requirements of high temperatures, by providing specifications on ASTM A312 TP 310 pipes that are controlled.

Stellar Alloys is a company that provides stainless alloys of 310 pipes to domestic and export work to support the EPC contractors, OEMs and industrial customers with quality and documentation portfolio.

Stellar Alloys supplies stainless alloys of 310 pipes to domestic and export projects to assist EPC contractors, OEMs, and industrial customers with a range of quality and documentation.

Stainless Steel 310 Pipe for High Temperature and Oxidation Resistant Applications

In applications where continuous service at high temperatures is required, stainless steel 310 pipe is very common, and operating temperatures are about 11100°C  in oxidizing conditions. This grade of pipe contains a large amount of chromium and nickel, making it very resistant to oxidation, scaling and the thermal fatigue process, which enables the SS 310 pipe to retain its structure even when exposed to heat over extended periods of time.

These performance attributes render stainless steel 310 pipes to be applicable in thermal processing systems like radiant heater assemblies, furnace components, boiler systems and heat exchangers that are used in oxidizing atmospheres. This material is also known to do well in mildly carburizing and nitriding environments where in the conventional austenitic grades, degradation can easily increase. As an alternative to using the stainless steel pipe and tube product line, engineers can consider lower operating temperature requirements in piping systems and select the material they would otherwise use according to the process conditions.

In the stainless steel group, temperature limits and exposure to corrosion tend to determine the grade of stainless steel chosen. Although SS 310 is usually used in extended service in high temperature, at moderate temperatures, stainless steel 317L pipe or stainless steel 304 pipe  is usually used when extra corrosion resistance or cost-effectiveness is needed.
