Inconel Plates & Sheets
Inconel plates are the standard bearings for applications that require high temperatures of heat and oxidation. Being a trusted supplier of Inconel plates and sheets, we supply materials that retain their mechanical properties at temperatures that normal steels would break or deform. The nickel-chromium superalloys are developed to prevent carburization and oxidation at temperatures of up to 1000 °C, and are needed as both heat treatment baskets and combustion chambers in industry.
Our most common grades of Inconel 600 plates, Inconel 625 sheets and even at 700 °C are Inconel 600 plates, which are used in general high temperature applications and whose maximum oxidation temperature is up to 1100 °C, Inconel 625 sheet, which is used in aerospace and gas turbine components where tensile strength is required, and even at 700 C. Our Inconel is offered as a structural material which has a hot-rolled plate (6mm to 100mm thickness) and as a fine fabrication material which has cold rolled sheet (0.5mm to 6mm). Additional materials that we supply to heat treatment fixtures and Inconel X-750 to springs and bolts, which require age-hardening, are Inconel 601 and Inconel X-750.
These have common uses in the parts of gas turbines, rocket motors, nuclear reactors, pressure vessels in heat exchangers, shells of heat exchangers, chemical processing units, pollution control, and incinerators of waste. We have Inconel alloy plates that are of aerospace and nuclear grade, as per ASTM B168, ASME SB168 and AMS.

Hastelloy Plates & Sheets
Hastelloy is usually the only material that can be selected in chemically challenging environments; environments that contain strong acids, wet chlorine, chlorides or hypochlorites. We provide hastyelloy plates and sheets of superior quality to meet the requirements of chemical processing, pollution control, and pharmaceutical sectors. Nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy is much more resistant to localized attack, including pitting and crevice corrosion, a frequent form of corrosion in severe chemical reactors and process vessels.
We also have the Hastelloy C276 plates, which are resistant to both oxidizing and reducing media such as chlorine, formic acid, acetic acid, and seawater, as well as Hastelloy C22 sheets designed to offer much higher corrosion resistance but still offer greater fabricability. Another use of Hastelloy B2 Plates is that it’s used in the application of pure hydrochloric acid as well as sulfuric acid at all concentrations less than the boiling point. In case of oxidizing applications, we have Hastelloy C4 and G30. These plates are needed to construct scrubbers, stacks, reaction vessels, evaporators, heat exchangers, and flue gas desulfurization systems that need long-term reliability.
Common examples are chemical reactors where chlorination is to take place, pharmaceutical mixing tanks, agrochemical production vessels, pulp and paper digesters, waste treatment devices, and acid recovery systems. Our Hastelloy alloy plates meet ASTM B575 and ASME SB575 and receive complete reports of chemical and mechanical testing.
Stainless Steel Plates & Sheets
Stainless steel is the main backbone of the basic structure of general industrial fabrication and Stellar Alloys will guarantee the availability of quality material. The stainless steel plates and sheets we produce are of the 200, 300 and 400 series of the entire family. Although we offer 304/304L stainless steel plates of medium grade to use in general-purpose tanks, hoppers, and architectural applications, we are more specialized in the 316/316L stainless steel sheets that are installed in marine, chemical and pharmaceutical environments where the content of molybdenum enhances pitting resistance. We also have stabilized grades such as 321 stainless steel plates (titanium stabilized) and 347 stainless steel plates (niobium stabilized) to be used in high temperature up to 900 °C, where intergranular corrosion cannot be tolerated.
Other grades we have are 310S plates that are used in extremely high-temperature oxidation resistance (up to 1150 °C), 317L sheets with improved chloride performance and 201/202 grades which is a cost-effective substitute that has nitrogen strengthening, and 409/410/430 ferritic grade used in automotive exhausts and decorative purposes. We also provide 301 hard sheets which can be used in the spring and structural applications which demand high work-hardening rates.
We provide an array of surface finishes to each of the applications: 2B finish (cold rolled, annealed, pickled) is used in general industrial use, No. 1 finish (hot rolled, annealed, pickled) in heavy fabrication, No. 4 finish (brushed/satin) in architectural and kitchen equipment, BA finish (bright annealed) in aesthetic and food-grade applications, Mirror/8K finish in decorative and reflective applications, and embossed/chequered patterns in anti-slip flooring. Our stainless steel stock ranges and is supplied in thin sheets (0.3mm) to use and cladding options, and thick plates (100mm or heavier) to support the structure, and is available in ASTM A240, EN 10088-2, and JIS G4304/4305.
Duplex & Super Duplex Steel Plates & Sheets
Duplex and Super Duplex steel plates are the best option to use on the project when it involves increased strength alongside excellent corrosion resistance. These alloys have a dual-phase microstructure (about 50 percent ferrite and 50 percent austenite) that gives these alloys about twice the yield strength (450-550 MPa minimum) of austenitic stainless steels. This enables engineers to come up with lighter and thinner-walled vessels and structures without affecting safety, which is of paramount importance to offshore platforms, pressure vessels, and subsea equipment where a reduction in weight equals substantial cost savings.
Our Duplex 2205 plates (UNS S31803/S32205, 1.4462) with PREN exceeding 35 are offered in general corrosive service application in chloride environments and are twice the strength of 316L. Super Duplex 2507 plates (UNS S32750, 1.4410) with PREN > 40 are also supplied by us in highly aggressive environments, such as seawater, high levels of chlorides, and temperatures up to 250 o C. Other grades are the Lean Duplex 2101 (UNS S32101) at low cost, but with low corrosion resistance due to the loss of tungsten, and Super Duplex 2507Cu (S32760, Zeren 100) with tungsten and copper added at a premium cost, but with the highest corrosion resistance in sour gas and acidic chloride service.
These plates are popular in the manufacture of desalination evaporators, chemical tankers, subsea manifolds, offshore platform legs and decks, pulp and paper digester, oil and gas pipelines, heat exchangers and pressure vessels. We provide all material that meets to strict requirements of Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) and is provided as per ASTM A240, ASME SA240 and EN 10088-2 with complete impact test reports at -40°C or -46°C where needed.
Monel Plates & Sheets
Monel is a type of material that is important in marine engineering, chemical salt production and oil refining. We are a reputable manufacturer of Monel plates and sheets that supply industries that handle high-speed seawater, brines, hydro fluoric acid, and alkaline liquids. Monel is a nickel-copper alloy (it is around 67 percent Ni, 30 percent Cu), which is very strong and remains ductile even at low temperatures as low as -200 °C, and has stress corrosion cracking resistance, making it very dependable in cryogenic and marine service.
In our stock, Monel 400 plates (UNS N04400, Alloy 400) are available; it has great resistance to the seawater, marine environment, alkaline solutions, reducing acids and other organic substances. Monel 400 works especially in an airless or deaerated operating environment. Our Monel K500 plates (UNS N05500) are also precipitation-hardenable by age-hardening treatment, which gives it about 2.5 times the yield strength of Monel 400. This renders K500 the perfect choice to use in pump shafts, valve stems, fasteners and marine propeller blades that need higher strength and hardness with corrosion resistance.
Common uses are heat exchanger tube sheets in the marine industry, condensers, crude petroleum stills, gasoline and freshwater tanks, boiler feedwater heaters, and pump and valve parts, propeller shafts, chemical processing equipment, hydrofluoric acid alkylation units, salt production equipment, and marine fixtures. Our plates are Monel alloy and meet the standards of ASTM B127, ASME SB127 with all corrosion and mechanical test certifications.
Nickel 200 / 201 Plates & Sheets
In conditions that require caustic alkalis, commercially pure nickel gives unparalleled resistance. Our products are Nickel 200/201 plates and sheets, which are sold to industries that manufacture caustic soda, synthetic fibers, food products, and pharmaceuticals. Nickel 200 plates (UNS N02200) that contains minimum 99.6 percent wrought nickel, and carbon content of less than 0.15 percent provides good mechanical properties, high ductility, and great resistance to both hot and cold caustic soda, caustic potash, sodium and potassium hydroxide, distilled and natural waters, dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gases (above dew point), neutral and alkaline salt solution, and organic acid.
To achieve high temperature (greater than 315 °C, 600 °F) performance, we offer Nickel 201 plates (UNS N02201), the low-carbon grade (up to 0.02percent carbon), and this type of alloy does not graphitise or embrittle at higher temperatures (above 315 °C). This is why Nickel 201 is the right product when it comes to high-temperature operation in caustic conditions. These plates are vital in the manufacture of storage tanks, evaporators, electrolytic cells, transport vessels, reaction vessels, food processing equipment, pharmaceutical mixing tanks, and caustic handling systems, where the purity of the product is an absolute requirement and the corrosion by-products cannot be allowed to contaminate.
Uses are common in the production and handling of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) and in the production of soaps, synthetic fibres, viscose rayon, food preparation apparatus, edible oil preparation, pharmaceutical vessels and electroplating. Our pure nickel plates with no impurities are in compliance with ASTM B162 and ASME SB162 requirements complete analysis of the chemical and mechanical test certificates.
Alloy 20 Plates & Sheets
Alloy 20, which is also known as Carpenter 20/20Cb-3, was specifically made to withstand sulfuric acid corrosion at a broad range of concentrations and temperatures. We are a major supplier of Alloy 20 plates and sheets (UNS N08020, 2.4660) in the pharmaceutical, plastics, chemical processing, and food industries. It is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy (33% Ni, 20% Cr, 2.5% Mo, 3% Cu), which has copper to provide better sulfuric acid resistance and molybdenum to better pitting resistance, which offers superior sulfuric acid (all concentrations up to 40%), phosphoric acid, and nitric acid as well as mixed acid resistance in sulfuric and phosphoric acid (and nitric acid) environments, respectively, which would quickly corrode 316L stainless steel.
In addition to its acid resistance feature, Alloy 20 plates also contain niobium (columbium), which reduces the formation of carbide during welding and heat exposure. This implies that it is possible to use tanks, vessels, heat exchangers made of Alloy 20 plates in the as-welded condition, without post-weld solution annealing or heat treatment, without consuming much time and cost during fabrication. The alloy is also resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking and is also effective in mixed acid pickling baths.
Examples include storage and processing equipment of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid evaporators, nitric-hydrofluoric acid pickling tanks, petrochemical processing equipment, synthetic rubber equipment, plastic polymerization reactor, pharmaceutical equipment, mixing tanks, pesticide and insecticide production equipment, food processing equipment and metal pickling equipment. We have Alloy 20 sheets, which are in ASTM B463, ASME SB463, solution annealed, as well as with complete test documentation.
Copper Nickel Plates & Sheets
For the seawater cooling systems and marine structures, Copper Nickel plates and sheets have a special benefit, they have natural anti-fouling properties which inhibit the settlement of marine organisms such as barnacles, mussels and algae. Our Cu-Ni alloys are of high quality and have clean surfaces in services in seawater, which reduces the maintenance cost and offers a uniform heat transfer efficiency. The combination of the natural biocidal characteristics of copper and the corrosion resistance of nickel forms a perfect material to use in marine and offshore environments.
We also have Copper Nickel 90/10 plates (C70600, CuNi10Fe1Mn, 90% Cu, 10% Ni) in general marine service, seawater piping, in condenser tube sheets, and also in marine heat exchangers, which are used in moderate velocity seawater conditions. The Copper Nickel 70/30 sheets (C71500, CuNi30Mn1Fe, 70% Cu, 30% Ni) are also available with our customers in the areas that may demand a lot of strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and also excellent resistance to impingement attack and erosion-corrosion in high-velocity seawater (up to 4 m/s). They are very ductile, can be hot and cold worked, welded and offer superior thermal conductivity (3-4 times better than stainless steel) and they are the best thermal conductors to use in heat exchanger tube sheets, condenser water boxes, desalination plant components, and ship hull sheathing.
They are used for common ship hulls, ship cladding, seawater cooling, condenser / heat exchanger/tube sheets, desalination plant evaporator shells, offshore platform risers, marine piping systems, saltwater pump and valve parts, and coastal architecture. Our Cupro Nickel plates are in compliance with ASTM B171, ASTM B122 and complete corrosion and mechanical test certifications.
Titanium Plates & Sheets
Titanium possesses the highest strength to weight ratio with excellent resistance to corrosion and Titanium plates and sheets are the best material to use in aerospace, chemical processing, marine, and power generation, where only high-quality material is required. We provide the commercially pure (CP) titanium grades: Grade 1 titanium plates (softest, most ductile, most complex forming), Grade 2 titanium sheets (mostly used, best balance of properties, workhorse grade), Grade 3 titanium plates (medium strength), and Grade 4 titanium (highest strength CP grade). We also offer titanium alloys, such as Grade 5 plates ( Ti-6Al-4V, 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium ) to the fields where greater mechanical strength (900 MPa tensile strength) is required, or to high temperature operation (up to 400 °C) and high strength to weight ratio (absolutely needed in aerospace and military usage).
The natural, protective layer of titanium dioxide (TiO2) that naturally forms on surfaces of titanium is highly resistant to assault by chlorides, oxidizing and reducing acids (nitric, chromic, chlorine solutions), seawater, brine and aqua regia even at high temperatures. Titanium is practically resistant to corrosion in the majority of natural conditions and various industrial activities. This has rendered our titanium alloy sheets a perfect plate heat exchanger in desalination plants, condensers in power plants, chlor-alkali production equipment (chlorine gas handling), bleach production, pickling equipment and chemical reactor linings. Although the initial cost may be higher than stainless steel, the titanium has an unmatched lifecycle, no maintenance and immunity to corrosion that provides the best lifecycle value and minimum total cost of ownership.
Common uses are aerospace structural parts and engine parts, chemical processing vessel and reactor, heat exchanger in desalination plants, power plant condensers, offshore platform parts, marine propulsion unit, chlor-alkali electrolyzer unit, pulp and paper bleaching units, surgical equipment and implants, and architectural cladding. Our titanium plates are ASTM B265, ASME SB265, and AMS specifications fully mill-certified and traceable.
SMO 254 / Alloy 904L Plates & Sheets
The use of Super Austenitic Stainless Steel alloys are better than the common 316L stainless steel in applications where chloride contents or acidic conditions are extreme and where the service life of the chosen alloy is reduced. We also provide the SMO 254 plates and sheets (UNS S31254, EN 1.4547, 6-Moly, 254 SMO) and Alloy 904L plates and sheets (UNS N08904, EN 1.4539), which are resistant to aggressive chloride-rich conditions (seawater, acidic media) where traditional stainless steels would be subject to rapid pitting and crevice corrosion failures. About 6% molybdenum (thus 6-Moly) 20% chromium and 18% nickel, with the addition of nitrogen, comprise SMO 254 plates to provide the highest possible Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN > 43) to resist crevice corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion cracking in seawater, brackish water, as well as chloride-contaminated process streams and bleaching environments.
In most chloride applications, SMO 254 can also substitute more expensive nickel alloy or even titanium. Having a high nickel content (25%), molybdenum (4.5%), and copper addition (1.5%), alloy 904L plates (also known as AL-6XN, Incoloy 904L) have better resistance against reducing acids, such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, in addition to outstanding resistance to warm seawater and chloride solutions. The high-copper is useful in giving it a high level of resistance to corrosion in decreasing acidic conditions.
The plates are important in the manufacture of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) scrubbers, absorber towers, bleach plant washers, pulp and paper digesters, phosphoric acid evaporators, seawater desalination units, offshore oil and gas processing units, chemical tanker cargo tanks, marine exhaust, heat exchange units using brackish or seawater and pollution control. Our super austenitic stainless steel plates are in ASTM A240, EN 10028-7 solution annealed, full PMI tested, and corrosion test certificates with Critical Pitting Temperature (CPT) data.
